I spent £700 on a mattress today.

& I considered not going through with it, I've considered cancelling it & going for something cheaper. But no, i shall not; because never in my adult life have i ever slept on a mattress that i chose to suit my preferences. Ever. Or sat on a sofa that I chose, or lived in an environment that i chose, before this house. I've always put the needs of others first; i always do!

& if I want a silk topped mattress then I'll bloody well have one, & that's that!

Honestly it will be the best purchase of your life. I slept on garbage for so long before finally springing on a good mattress. I started having the best sleeps ever. I even got the memory foam topper for it. Memory foam! It remembers me!

@SevenTierCrazyCake I mean..,it's not a big wet pile of marshmallows. That'd be a thing of nightmares. Ans honestly sleeping on a cloud doesn't sound like much fun either since it's just a bunch of gas. You'd fall trough and then you'd be hurtling towards the ground. I think there is no better way to describe it other than it's like sleeping on a really comfy bed,
