I don't own a television.

This could be because I'm a bit of a hippy, because I think I'm better than you, or because I'm broke. Dealers choice on the explanation.

But the other day I ate a breakfast that was hand delivered to me in bed, whilst watching an episode of Little House on the Prairie, & drinking one a the true gems of existence; a cup of tea at the perfect temperature.

If that's not the crème de la crème i don't know what is.

I wouldn't have one myself, but I have children and they've always loved watching stuff on TV. Good thing is, I can now watch "Midsomer Murders"! 😏

@helenS One reason I have a TV is for weather forecasts and storm & tornado warnings. I live in Oklahoma and it’s not good to be caught unaware for the day.

@cherokeepatti You could also use a radio, couldn't you! The radio will report all weather events too.

@helenS Radios don’t give visuals like the local news station does and those visuals are really important when you watching the timeline. I didn’t have a tv back in the mid 70’s for a short while but the weather wasn’t as severe and weird as it is now then either.

@cherokeepatti Thank you – I fully understand. I live in Central Europe, and Western and Central do not have those extreme weather events. In Winter it's about colder than in Summer, that's all... 😏
