Americans, why would you care about Russia and not about gangs crossing your south border?

Nobody I know cares about Russia. That's just the media hype. Most of us are more concerned about the safety of our loved ones and want the vetting to enter our country.

@Magicianzini Yeah, okay. You want "vetting".
@ItsMeMorgue I think at this point ... you're moving over the stalking line 🤣

You know I didn't read it. I'm sure it's just more propaganda. Thanks, I cancelled my subscription to that a while ago.

Fair enough. When people refuse to see reality, I can sometimes get a little obsessed with showing it to them.
You know I didn't read it.
Why would you? If it turns out it changed your mind, there'd be that sunk cost of all those years you spent being on the wrong side of history to worry about. 😆

Anyway, I'll just go back to responding to you when you show up in my notifications, rather than stalking.
@ItsMeMorgue I used to be the same way. To me, I don't see you as seeing reality either. It's just to the point where we have to agree to disagree. And why would you even want to change my mind... I wouldn't want to change yours per se eh, unless I thought it could help you, personally.. and as militant as you are, I know you're not in the right mindset to change anything mentally. You will think how you wish to think, and that's exactly as it should be. Just as I will think as I wish to think.

It would be a boring world if everyone agreed about everything.

@Magicianzini Yeah, if it were just about favorite colors or musicians, that would be one thing, but you're literally calling trans and gender fluid people a bunch of liars playing pretend, and that's incredibly disrespectful. That's why I'm so passionate about trying to change your mind, but you refuse to look at any evidence that might tell you that you're wrong. Even as you are causing irreparable harm to people.
@ItsMeMorgue I don't think they're liars. I'm fully convinced they believe all of what they present. But some people believe they're George Washington also. Should we give them surgery to make them look more like him? Maybe hair transplant the white wig..

There's no harm here. If there was harm and/or hate, I would have discontinued this interaction a while ago. I see you has a human being, afflicted yes, but human. It doesn't make you any lesser than because you have this issue. It's the same as someone having a drug problem or schizophrenia, although I'm sure you're surrounded by people who tell it's not, and that it's normal somehow. Those people don't have your best interest in mind though, unfortunately. It's just about giving you what you want, so they can get your cooperation in their own world in reciprocation.

@Magicianzini See, I'm having trouble deciding which side of your mouth is telling the truth. Because out of one side of your mouth, you're saying that we're all playing pretend, and then out of the other side of your mouth, you're saying that you think we think it's real. So which is it?
@ItsMeMorgue It's both. From a reality standpoint, you're all doing a type of pretend.. but this is dysmorphia, to you all you see it as real. Of course you see it as real, hence the fight. I can have empathy and understanding without playing along.

From the outside, we can see more clearly. The trauma gets in the way of the clarity for those of you going through this. But we all know. Some play along. Some do not. And when I say play along, I don't mean you all are purposefully playing. It's more of an outsider's view of playing along. It's mostly done to keep the peace .. but let the emotions roll and most will "slip".

@Magicianzini
It's both.
Nope. We're either pretending or we're not.
...but this is dysmorphia...
That doesn't mean it's psychological. There's tons of articles on the subject, about brain chemistry and structure in cishet men and women, as well as folx under the trans umbrella. The similarities in brain structure between an AMAB trans woman and an AFAB cis woman should be sufficient to make even the most stubborn opponent reconsider their opinion.
@ItsMeMorgue You don't think you're pretending. Everyone else thinks you're pretending. It's all a matter of position. I don't consider alternative people as "pretending". They actually believe it's true. So yes, it's both.

Two different things can simultaneously exist, as hard as that is for a lot of people to grasp.
