@candycane I expect they haven't been worn for a while.
I believe those are the ones that were stolen, sealed in a one gallon paint can with some weights, and thrown into a Minnesota lake.

@MarmeeMarch Apparently there's four existing pairs of Slipper left, these are one of those known to exist, other pairs were either lost or thrown out.

@MarmeeMarch I read enough of the story to realise the two odd pairs of slippers are actually two pairs mixed up, however as we both agree 28 Million Dollars or 22 Million Great British Pounds is too much to pay for the Slippers.
I expect they were bought for a Museum or Film Company they are an investment they will no doubt sell for a great amount there is a market for these type of things but not in the world where I live.
