Canadians vs. Americans

I keep finding posts here on SW about Canadians not liking Americans. Why? I'm just curious

I understand the support of fans for their teams in hockey or whatever, but never regarding national affiliations. Never mis-read what some asshat politician in EITHER country says about the other. The rest of us get along quite nicely.
