There’s a solid basis for that perspective. The reality is that the U.S. has interfered with the governments of several other countries, especially when it wanted access to resources in that country (oil, for example).

@bijouxbroussard I'd go so far as to say the success and the wealth of the US is based on it. The neat trick the US invented to replace colonialism is market control as opposed to direct political control. Either way the wealth gets extracted.
