November 8th is a referendum on whether the American voters care about climate policy and international stability.

Progressives and everyone left of them have been screaming for action on global warming for decades now, and the IRA designated tens of billions of dollars for wind, solar, nuclear, and battery storage. It included money for electrifying home appliances and tax credits for electric vehicles. Hell, we even got enforcement against natural gas companies for methane leaks; ain't that somethin' special?

The Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act gave us $66 billion for building trains, another $39 billion for general public transit, and even $15 billion for replacing lead pipes. If we let ourselves get smashed in this election, that's gonna send the message that the people pushing for these things don't make a difference.
good when it's good. bad when it's bad. if you do well, it's good. bad to do bad. don't do bad. do well.

however, if it is good to do nothing, then do nothing, but if doing is better than not doing, then do.

Until the whole society becomes less capitalistic very little will be done.

Capitalism is the boon of climate change. It enforces the quick fix when there is no quick fix.

Less is better. Not more. That is mistake of capitalism. Our government is encouraging more waste. Not less waste.

Just think what "increasing" the economy really means... More waste!

This applies to both political parties. Because both encourage more waste through increasing the economy. How that is done really doesn't matter. Both agree that waste is better.

That is not a good sign for climate change. 😞
