Progressives and everyone left of them have been screaming for action on global warming for decades now, and the IRA designated tens of billions of dollars for wind, solar, nuclear, and battery storage. The Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act gave us $66 billion for building trains, another $39 billion for general public transit, and even $15 billion for replacing lead pipes.
