Well mines genetic. It came from my mom's genes because some people on her side of the fam have it. She has it extremely bad though & I think my heavy drinking from a super early age triggered mine a lot earlier. So I've had the issue since I was 18 or so.

I'm pretty used to it by now honestly. I can't even imagine life without heartburn anymore. I get it so easily from anything. Even just water from certain places can trigger it
