That's a rather confused message. I think they meant they don't like the admiration currently in Washington DC. If they mean our system of government as set forth in the constitution, I have to disagree. I think the U.S. system of checks and balances with 3 separate co-equal branches of government has worked quite well for nearly 250 years. There are much worse ways to govern a country.
@Slade The "power grabbers" you mention would be Donald Trump and his supporters. He said "that constitution is a mess", meaning he was frustrated that our constitution limits the power of the president. I was never more grateful to the framers of our constitution for wisely creating a system of checks and balances. No dictators allowed in America ever!
@Slade Trump has been trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election. He orchestrated the treasonous attack on our nation's capital on Jan. 6th 2021. Our political system is based on peaceful transition of power. But Trump, being an egomaniac and would-be dictator, cares nothing for the country, only for his own power.
As for Biden, he is not perfect, but he is enacting some good policies. Both parties have been corrupted by corporate bribes (campaign contributions) but the Democrats still enact more policies beneficial to all Americans.
