Do you think dental tourism to Mexico is a good or bad idea?

I just paid about $5,200 for this dental implant. In Mexico, it cost about $750-1000.[image][image]

They aren't exactly known for being gentle or careful as far as dentistry goes. My mom was quite relieved she ended up not being able to go to get her teeth pulled + dentures fitted.

But maybe it would be worth doing some extensive research on the particular dentist you planned to see, and look at the pros and cons of doing it there vs where you live. I know not everyone can afford the huge pricetag that comes with getting dental work done. I don't blame people for wanting to pay less.

As long as it's quality work ...I wouldn't want my mouth botched up lol

@Lilymoon You won't know until it's too late.

It's a risk as far as the quality of the work. You get what you pay for. What do you do if the implant fails? Head back down there?
