So some of them have not completely lost their minds, although I’m not sure what the point of remaining in the GOP is—I don’t see them gaining any respect as long as anyone connected to Trump is in charge. The few black Republicans I knew either went Democrat or Independent when the GOP chose Trump in 2016.

I know one who now claims to be independent, I know a few others that have not changed their minds about the GOP and fall under the Tim Scott fan club variety of Black Republicans.
