I hate that whenever a black American wants to move up the ladder and become successful, or speak correct English instead of ebonics, they are believed to be "acting white."

I have to agree with you. I don't know where this "not black enough" thing came from. Many speak of equality and lack of opportunity and then attack someone trying to improve themselves. They should be encouraging and supporting them. Makes no sense.
