I am really honestly tired of racially divisive politics to be honest with you.
I am white, I know I have privilege. I've voted for the party african americans have for years, I know I'm outnumbered by them as a Democrat in the party, and we need them...
I just i'm tired of the divide and conquer shit and I honestly feel the people in power deliberately divide people they take advantage of white supremacist sentiment to get people to vote republican they do all kinds of shit to divide people and the reality is that there really ought to be no war but the class war.

I'm looking fwd to when skin colour can be easily adjusted -then it'll be very hard to keep up with who's in and who's out and who should be hating who and who did what :-)

@SW-User Be careful what you wish for. In India there is a lively trade in skin lightening products because light skin is regarded as higher status. The availability of them and dyes that would darken the skin doesn't eliminate the discrimination that already exists, it just enables some people to adjust their appearance so as to ensure their membership of the favoured set. It has more to do with economics and status than specifically the skin colour.

I agree. I rember manh years past during a coversation, my goddaughters mom using the term "high yellow"..twas my first time hearing that. Me being white, intellectually that was an eye opener hearing that there seem to be issues atween dark n light..island/west indians csvamerican blacks, efc. Of course almost all rthnic groups seem to have issues like that

I agree completely. That's why I do not support BLM. Because I do believe all lives matter, not just black lives. All lives have value.

their votes would resemble the black communities. But they don't. The republicans have cynically taken advantage of White supremacist and they are basically taking their values and beating them with it.
I get that the white supremacist sentiment often comes from the poorest and trashiest segments of the white community and those people trashy as they may be probably are getting shafted economically and probably do have actual grievances but the problem is the right has masterfully played them like an organ and convinced them to misdirect their anger onto us as a party. Quiet a bit of the rage that is real has been misdirected.
