Thanks to the Internet I realise that Americans and Europeans often have the exact same weathe

Europe is at a slightly higher latitude but yeah the weather is often very close.

Luckily here in my state, the weather has been and should be about perfect.

Those are two huge land masses you have there. In any one part of Europe and one part of North America, it’s probably raining somewhere.
