Do you believe the Western nations should pay reparations to those who are descendants of slaves?

Do you think that is to highlight that they have not been able to throw off their slave attitude and show the world that their contributions to humanity are indeed worth more than their forebears fates? Or is that just a means for failing societies to survive in the modern world of diminishing democratic and economic returns?

We still have slaves, underpaid workers are slaves with no hope of escape. Get your bachelors degree.
That slave stuff is long gone, a generation gone, no reparations required. Don't waste a second thinking you are owed something because it will never happen, all that money goes to Trump to squander.
