It seems Europe is turning right wing and brexit Britain has turned further left wing!

If the USA 🇺🇸 turns right wing and elects the criminal Trump there will be a good deal of cohesion lost between the imperial Anglo-American world power making way perhaps for the triumvirate of 🇨🇳 China, North Korea 🇰🇵 and Putin’s Russia 🇷🇺.

Interesting times ahead for all people of good will and those Christian values which are being eroded and erased by the current woke globalist regime.

I NEVER thought I would live in a country that would allow a convict to run for public office.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Pretzel I am even more sad that democracies/republics call them what you may convict innocent people to keep them from running for office.
Pretzel · 70-79, M
@hippyjoe1955 I suspect that now that they have used the legal system on a former president that it now opens the door for future prosecutions.

Nixon was impeached
so Clinton was impeach

Trump was prosecuted
A democrat will be sooner or later in return

the only thing more corrupt that tv evangelists is politics - because politics is always about power

@Pretzel Never thought I’d see the day a political candidate was prosecuted not for justice but to keep him off the ballot.
Pretzel · 70-79, M
@NatureGuy77 I thought the charge was bogus - can you imagine if every politician that tried to minimize bad publicity was prosecuted for that?

BUT the prosecution AND defense both agreed on a jury. The jury found him guilty (just like another jury said OJ was not guilty).

You have to live with the jury decision in a "civilized" society.

@Pretzel Live and respect with Judicial decisions? Ok then. Like Supreme Court decisions? Or do you side with AOC introducing article of Impeachment but only for the Conservative Justices.
Pretzel · 70-79, M
@NatureGuy77 I don't have to agree with any decisions but they are the law and the supreme court decisions are the "law of the land".

don't like it? you work within the system to change it.

pure and simple
NatureGuy77 · 56-60, M
@Pretzel Like impeaching them if you don’t agree with their decision? (AOC)
Pretzel · 70-79, M
@NatureGuy77 you let the system work

the alternative is a revolution. it worked out quite nicely in 1776 but had they not succeeded there would have been many "traitors" hanged.
@NatureGuy77 No, impeaching them for taking bribes and not recusing from cases where they are clearly compromised.

@LeopoldBloom Safe to assume you’re in favor of impeaching Biden on foreign bribery and extortion caught on tape? [media=https://youtu.be/UXA--dj2-CY?si=4ydWpPI7A2-4qUTS]
