In the uk with a modern phone and nope... No fancy warning at or about 3pm... Usual gov cock up i guess

@braveheart21 It was broadcast but not everyone received it, and that is more likely by network difficulties than by your easy-get-out "government cock-up"

I reckon the amount of people that DIDN'T get it when it's supposed to be a national emergency alarm that makes it a fail or cock up on the official side... The easy get out is network/connection difficulties.... Most of the service providers boast of almost total coverage these days... @ArishMell
