I have never heard this one, Mel. I think this was around when Umbrella was playing around the hour, and I stopped going out with the ex-wife on errands (Shopping). I'd rather stay home with the babes. 🤫

@Levenrack I love Nickelback, they are a fav of mine.
This song is the only one that makes me emotional. It came on on my way home late the night I last saw my gram who was slowly dying. I was w/her the entire day and night till my fam pushed me to go home. I knew it was gonna be that night, I felt it. I was hysterical and the song stuck as a reminder b/c it went on as I pulled out of the place. Ever since it comes on the craziest times like it’s her saying I’m here. Once after I had a visitation dream w/her my long playlist was on shuffle and I got up after seeing her and the song started at that exact moment. That’s just one example.. but my point is this song is hard and happy for me.

@MellyMel22 Though nowhere close to your experience. I was going through an extended rough patch after HS.
When they released Silver Side Up, "Too Bad" would play on the radio (a lot). It was an emotional reminder of past abuse, and I didn't want to listen to it, and to this day I don't. It's not a bad song.
The reminiscent aspects of it truly show how different one's perception can be from another's.
I keep it off my Spotify Playlists, so I've been Okies! 😊
But your experience must have had some "spiritual" tones, for that kind of emotional tethering. 😢

You have no idea. And it’s like each time I hear it randomly it pops on as I’m walking through a doorway or something like that just like when I left my grandmother’s place. It went on as I pulled out of the exit.
Another example is when I was a nervous wreck to have a tooth filled because I’m resistant to numbing agents. I felt myself shaking. As I put 1 foot through the room door that song started on their speaker at that exact moment. So strange that I felt this peace like I knew it was her. The timing is always spot on and it always starts from the beginning like that night.
