I remember this song coming out, not sure how though. I was only 11! As a kid I always admired her and thought she was the prettiest singer I had seen.

I also remember a snobby classmate singing this for a talent show and ruining it 🤣

I remember my mom always playing this song and saying, how she really related to it. guess I never really fully understood the impact of it till now.The song really hits home for me.
