Are you the type of person who hears a song being played in a movie and gets so overcome by the nostalgia of it that you start singing it…loudly…

…word for freakin’ word…in your theater seat. Possibly doing exaggerated hand gestures in the air because the inner 20-something inside of you that forgot the song even existed was awakened too abruptly for the adult you to have time to engage the chill pill. 🙄

I sometimes get the reverse effect: I hear a song on the radio that I had first heard in a movie, and it reminds me of the movie since usually I was not around when the song originally came out.

Sort of like how covers of old songs are sometimes better and more popular, and so when I eventually hear the original it reminds me of the cover. Also, the original seems wrong!
