Does anyone else here collect vinyl records?

I have a collection of several hundred records that I started amassing in 2017. They're mostly classical and mostly used, since I purchased a lot of them at stores that charge $3-5 per disc, and at one store's annual sale where they charge only $1 per disc.

I wish vinyl weren't such an expensive hobby. I currently don't even own a turntable because I've been in the market for a new one and I've been spending money on other things.

For those who do listen, what kind of equipment do you have? How often do you listen to records?

I've been collecting records since I was a kid,never stopped,even when it wasn't cool.
I became a radio DJ in 1987 and got lots of free promos that way.
I have lost huge collections a few times due to life stuff, stupid people and poor choices.
Not sure how many thousand I've got,but it's an unhealthy ammount.I see a few purges in my near future, especially with the prices being what they are lately...Much of the fun has been sucked out of the hobby for me,but I still find gems here and there...
My favorite TT is the Techniques T1200 sitting in the garage in need of repair.I use a few crummy USB models around the house along with a newer Audio Technica through a cheap Optimus amp but through spiffy Auratone monitors. My PA runs 2 800 watt Carvin (or Crown?) amps through an array of speakers, mainly JBL's.I almost never play vinyl out (apart from my radio show) unless I'm showing off.
I mainly buy used CD's lately cos they are so abundant, cheap and durable.I'm sure they outnumber my vinyl stacks at this point.

Just yesterday I got a stack of postcards from 1959,Portugal which are also 78rpm records. For a dollar, buried in a box of junk at a library sale.Made my day, haha.I like weird cultural ephemera like that. Thanks for asking.
