Does anyone else here collect vinyl records?

I have a collection of several hundred records that I started amassing in 2017. They're mostly classical and mostly used, since I purchased a lot of them at stores that charge $3-5 per disc, and at one store's annual sale where they charge only $1 per disc.

I wish vinyl weren't such an expensive hobby. I currently don't even own a turntable because I've been in the market for a new one and I've been spending money on other things.

For those who do listen, what kind of equipment do you have? How often do you listen to records?

Twice in the past for various reasons I have given away my Vinyl collection. The first time would have been when they would now be quite valuable - early Rolling Stones, The Who etc etc, all 60's stuff. Now I just have CD's and a collection of music cassettes.

Now I do a stint on the tills at an Oxfam Book and Music Shop, in the Vinyl, CD, DVD, Sci-fi section. A little paradise where I can listen to some good sounds on a pretty good system that can play all sorts of media.
