Does anyone else here collect vinyl records?

I have a collection of several hundred records that I started amassing in 2017. They're mostly classical and mostly used, since I purchased a lot of them at stores that charge $3-5 per disc, and at one store's annual sale where they charge only $1 per disc.

I wish vinyl weren't such an expensive hobby. I currently don't even own a turntable because I've been in the market for a new one and I've been spending money on other things.

For those who do listen, what kind of equipment do you have? How often do you listen to records?

I have maybe 100 or so. I am kind of picky about the ones I get.
Thrift stores always have them but they are junk no one wants like Andy Williams, 101 strings, or those sh*tty firestone christmas albums.

Turntable is an Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB that I bought in 2017 IIRC.

@CestManan Yes, good ones at thrift stores are rare. Also have to check each disk for obvious scratches.

@SW-User Sometimes I have found something sufferable from the 80's though.
Sometimes they are okay or good but sometimes they look like someone skidded them across a sidewalk.
