My best friend and I, who had seen his concert in 1981, saw his tour in 2004. He was better than ever. And I’ve always loved this video.

@dontbekoi Actually, more than twice. I saw him in 1982, 1990 and the last time in 2014, also in San Jose. I miss him, too.

@dontbekoi Y’know, I was going to buy tickets in the beginning of 2016, but money was tight, so I figured, "next time". Little did I know there was to be no next time. 🥺

He was so private. I don't think anyone knew the extent of his addiction? (I didn't) I hated how he died ... alone in his big house. I hope he knew how loved he was.
It reminds me of a co-worker I had - a long time ago. She got a call from her mother saying her teenage sister had run away from home to be Prince's "groupie" LOL . She lasted 18 hrs!
