My family are old time string band musicians. Like anyone my taste has evolved and expanded over time. Mostly i would say when i realized that most music is pumped out by record company executives then passed out to puppets for profit. So i gravitated toward artist that write, perform and produce there own music, with some exceptions of course. Frank Zappa is a major contributing factor and changed my idea of what music really is and that the boundaries set by record lables was an invisible line and music can be anything and has no boundaries or limits.
I have an open mind and never critique someone else's art. Any critic that makes money on boxing up an artist work can sit an spin in my opinion. If someone is doing something different i respect that and realize not everything is for everyone.

@PhluorescentLeech hey brother...anyone ever told you that you look like Danzig?
I did all that when i was younger. I was on a high calorie, protein diet and lifted 6 days a week. I got strong and cut. I just couldn't bulk up and gain significant wieght. Im 6'4" with long limbs and it turned out that the weight gaining diet i was on wasnt much different than the amount of calories i was already eating. They called me the bottomless pit.
