Constant Craving - k.d. Lang

This song just knocks me out. Everything about it--the production, the vocal--is dead-on perfect. They even got the damn 12-strings in tune! And yet, the song has a ton of soul. I first heard it on my girlfriend's terrible car radio...and it STILL kicked ass. It was a rainy night, and looking through the foggy windshield as the wipers swayed, it created this dark world where k.d.'s voice shone through like a beacon.

I think they knew they had something perfect, as it's the last track on the album and therefore cannot be followed, maybe by anything.
