Some of it is the innocence I felt in that time, but also a bit of "90s" sound, that alternative to pop radio, bass driven, garage band sound... songs don't come out much like that anymore.

@Starcrossed yes! Agreed! I feel like some of the bands I love would have been looked over today for not being polished and auto tuned
