Who touches your heart and soul?

There are many brilliant people we can admire and get inspiration from all over the world.
Their works and passions are inspiring.

The first person I was fascinated by was Bruce Lee, he was one of a kind.
I love all his films.

Choose self-expression over imitation.—Bruce Lee

The first writer I was into was Fyodor Dostoevsky.

The greatest happiness is to know the source of unhappiness.—Fyodor Dostoevsky

Every time I listen to Maria Callas she touches my heart.

I can listen to Joseph Campbell interview for hours.
He is such a good storyteller.
I don't have to have faith, I have experience.—Joseph Campbell.

I like how Carl Jung explained about collective unconscious.
You are what you do, not what you say you'll do.—
Carl Gustav Jung
It all depends on how we look at things, and not how they are in themselves. —Carl Gustav Jung

Chopin was just a beautiful soul who remains on top of my list forever.

I can listen to Stevie Wonder’s song As over and over. He is such a genius.

I like all Marx Brothers but Harpo touches my heart.
I love his artistic side.
His music is so beautiful.

Beatles, Beach Boys, probably hundreds of songs and musicians have touched my soul.

Something else comes to mind, though.

Fall 1994. My grandmother on my dad's side passed during a long illness. My grandfather sat grieving in the funeral home, surrounded by family and friends. He had taken a moment for himself, away from everyone.

My grandfather on my mom's side, a widower himself, had been released from the hospital from treatment that day. He literally went from the hospital to the wake, sat in front of my other grandfather, turned around in his seat, and said, "It gets better!!"

I witnessed that, and it made me proud to be related to them. It was something else.
