Beautiful choice. She was once asked about writing and painting. She said it in a way I understood, when I write I throw myself into torment that I have to follow, but painting is freeing for me without the pain and torment.

Awww, bless. I'm a great Joni fan: my favourite is probably "A Little Green" from her "Blue" album, where she tells the story of how she gave up her daughter for adoption. As a single father of a daughter, it kills me every time I hear it.
