“Breezin’” – George Benson

[media=https://youtu.be/G1QjyskJ9jw]

One of the things I appreciate about music is how it can help lift your mood when you’re in a funk. It might not fix whatever got you there in the first place, but it can provide a temporary respite from what ails you.

George Benson’s cover of “Breezin’”, a smooth jazz tune first recorded by Hungarian guitarist Gábor Szabó, is a great piece for getting away from it all in mind and spirit. It has a laid-back, summertime vibe, and when I listen to it, it takes me to a better place, at least for the moment.

Why, Rutterman, I just saw that movie last night. Shawshank Redemption. It was a good movie. Benson's music is smooth like silk and the beat is fine.

I couldn't live without music. It plays all day. Sometimes all night. It is like poetry for me.

Thank you for sharing this. I always enjoy your postings. Good to see your music prints here. Is everything okay with you?

@PoetryNEmotion Wow. What a coincidence. Haven't seen the movie since it was first released. I'd like to see it again.

Same for me. Life would be unbearable without music.

You're welcome. I always appreciate your comments. Yes, I'm fine. I hope you are too.
