I Use Music As Therapy For the Soul

The lyrics deeply resonate with me. I still have a long way to go. I'm never going to be who I was before. There is a huge hole that won't be filled by anything except having my son back and I can't have him back. The only thing I can do is plug the hole with the me that has to go forward. It's a strange place to be the same and yet not the same at all... and figuring how to make the one who lived a few months ago match up to the one who is living now. I hope to figure it out.

@ravenwind43 I haven't seen you in such a long time!👀 Yes, I'm well and have been busy with company out of state. My friend is in a memory care facility and will never be able to go back home. Her daughter came from San Diego and stayed with me a while. It was such a bittersweet reunion for everyone. We realize our own mortality when these kinds of things happen.😔

@ravenwind43 Yeah, it's good to take breaks from social media websites to keep your sanity!😉 Thank you about my friend, it's been busy and exhausting for her to see her mother this way. 😞 I'm just glad I'm close enough to visit.
