Tall skinny people have a hard time. Because proportionally their shoulders are too wide.

Short skinny people usually can do it. Their proportions are usually smaller.

@DeWayfarer also can go through a/c ducts. I know of a case where a woman who is a meth addict got on welfare and then let her boyfriend come over. She got someone to care for the child for weeks at a time and partied with her boyfriend. He crawled through the a/c ducts to the next apartment, which was vacant at the time, and they were doing it there instead of the woman’s rented apartment. Got caught within a few weeks and they got kicked out and she lost her welfare, and a relative got custody of the child. This boyfriend had been in prison before and knew all these kinds of tricks.
