Why leave the washer door open after you're finished...so the mouse can fall in there?

Too prevent mould forming and lengthen the life of the rubber seal.

So it dries out properly and doesn't smell like mildew

to entice my cat to empty it

So it doesn't grow things I do not want to grow in it's humid environment.

Ours smells bad if you leave the door shut too long.

You have one of them stinky front loaders, you must do that.

Time to get a cat

The washer needs to dry out. It can rust or deteriorate. Plus it would stink if you left it closed. You got mice? Geez.

I always close it back.
