I don’t get why people dislike Taylor Swift

Her music is really good and she comes across as a cool/nice person.
I have a few of her albums on vinyl, I love them.

It's the most generic bland pop my ears have ever heard. It's not that she's bad, or that I hate her, I just don't get the hype

To me, it's as if everyone suddenly glorified plain bread w/ mayonnaise as the best thing they've ever eaten

Ok, I think her lyrics are actually really good and the music doesn’t seem bland to me but I do get that it sounds that way to you. I think she’s maybe become a bit too popular/overplayed which maybe makes her sound more generic than she is.
