Because people are almost afraid to open their fridge without her jumping out of it on them. She's basically a spam at this point. She's played on the radio a lot and her music is not pleasant to listen to. I see random posts about her on Facebook when I never subscribed to her page. Why do I get this stuff then? I remember it took some time of reporting it before FB finally stopped showing posts about her.

@CrazyMusicLover ok.... i get that you feel she is everywhere and that it can be annoying but is it worth the gatred?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@BabyLonia It's not hatred, just frustration. It's similar to some local musicians's simple almost primitive songs getting played multiple times a day on the radio, getting their wallets fatter while the atrists I deem as truly valuable will never get any exposure. I simply think it's unfair but that's how the world works. 🤷🏻♀️
BabyLonia · F
@CrazyMusicLover but she has worked since she was 14 has she not earned her success?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@BabyLonia Not in that scale and not that much money. Nobody needs that much money and idolization in reality. So many people work their ass off their whole life doing much more important service to society and don't even get recognition and the pay they would truly deserve. A lot of people have these opinions on influencers but the difference is that influencers didn't get to the mass media yet and therefore aren't randomly rammed down our throats whether we want it or not when we're somewhere where the radio is on or browse through social media where spam occurs. Maybe it's not her fault media push her everywhere but it creates this notion that someone is paid for pestering me with something I don't even want..and all that at the expanse of someone who produces something I would want to hear or learn about but will never even get to because mass media only pushes this kind of stuff.

@CrazyMusicLover yeah i just asked in the other thread why she still works
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@NinaCherry Oh, it's good she works. But she might work for her fans and leave the general public out of it.
NinaCherry · 26-30, F
@CrazyMusicLover u said not that much money
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@NinaCherry I said nobody needs to own such sums but she obviously doesn't work for money. I don't care if she works and earns more but I don't want to be a part of it as an involuntary listener or "subscriber". All normal artists have their fans who support them. They make tours, shows, gigs and those who are interested come to support them, subscribe to their pages on social media and get the content from them. I, on the other hand, have never subscribed to Taylor Swift, HIM, Harry Potter franchise or something called Black Pink (whatever it might be) and yet their faces were plastered all over my Facebook feed at some point.
NinaCherry · 26-30, F
@CrazyMusicLover HIM?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@NinaCherry Ville Valo. That at least somewhat makes sense because I like the genre and listen to his music from time to time. I didn't like his page on FB though.
