She's my girl and I don't care what anyone says about that. She's been my girl ever since she taught me that people throw rocks at things that shine.

I have crazy mad respect for Taylor. And I generally groove to any of her songs when they come on the radio. I'm not at the level where I ever play a full Taylor album though, so I think that disqualifies me from being a true Swiftie.

A lot of talk online from the gaylor community that she is queer. I'm not sure I agree. But at the very least, these two songs are "queer-adjacent," and I appreciate that.

@ShadowSister As you know, I am generally much less focused on labels than most people. I got into this Taylor mood earlier this week precisely because I let myself get sucked into a discussion on Taylor's gayness. I tried to apply my typical thoughts on labels and the role I see (or don't see) for them in society, but the people I was with wouldn't have it. So I had to come down on the obvious, "Of course she's gay, but so what?" tack.

Anyway ... She's gorgeous, intelligent, funny, genius and just the complete package. I don't know if she's bi as so many people say and honestly I don't care. She's my girl and she brought me comfort with her music so many years ago and still does today. If she knocked on my front door, my girlfriend already knows I'm out. 😁

I mean, I would label you an radical anti-labelist, but it wouldn't stick because you would reject the label. 😜

You're not wrong. She is the complete package. And regardless of her orientation, her lyrics resonate with queer audiences. If she knocked on my front door, I would pull out my guitar and we would have a really fun jam session.

@ShadowSister Hahaha!!! Love ya, girl! Radical anti-labelist? I may have to make an exception to my no labels rule. I like that one. 🤣🤣🤣
