@bijouxbroussard [i]Huge[/i] fan of their stuff all during the 80’s, up until “Violator” was released. Probably letting my negative listening experience of that CD color my opinion moving forward, but it struck me as less densely layered than their previous output.

Songs of Faith and Devotion, the album after, was better. It's dark and very layered.

@Burnley123 @SevIsPamprinYouAlways I liked them from the very beginning and saw them perform "Dreaming of Me". In spite of that, "Violator" was one of my favorite of their albums. I guess I got something from it that others just didn’t.

@bijouxbroussard I do like Violator. It has good songs but I just think sofad is better.
