MIXED TAPE MEMORIES!
I found an old mixed tape today. After searching through my storage shed to find sonething that would play it, I sat back to listen. Wow did it bring back memories of when I would pull out the hairbrush in front of the mirror and practice my Madonna routine, hoping I would morph into the Material Girl and I wasn't just "like a virgin because I WAS a virgin. Then my dream men would blast their voices through the Sony stereo. Boy George was all about his karma chameleon but then my man Billy wanted me to shout in a rebel yell, more more more but I wouldn't understand what that meant until much later just after my "white wedding." I have come a long way from the innocence of that little girl, and the last song on the tape reminded me of the animal inside me and that lustful side is "hungry like the wolf" tonight. So who wants to party like it's 1999 with me and share your favorite song memory from the 80's?
