Good selection of the pop hits of the day. Mine would be less radio-oriented...

@bijouxbroussard I was in my 20s and my main source was a large collection of LPs and the suggestions of other musicians.
@ChipmunkErnie It’s funny, in my household the only person who would enjoy rock as much as I did, (even though her thing is more metal than classic rock) had not yet been born. Most of the rock albums in the house had been bought by or for me.

@bijouxbroussard My Dad didn't say much about it, my Mom didn't really like it, but they didn't interfere. Plus, but the time I was 19 I was living in an apartment at college, so they had little to say about my music at all. Well, except they could never understand how i got into playing music. They always supported my art and writing, but just never understood the music.

None of them made it to this side of the pond - except The Hollies, who started out about 40 miles from where I am now.

Love all of the songs you selected.

Here's another early '70s song by The Grass Roots that I really like:

I remember them all; would not have been able to name any of the bands!

@bijouxbroussard The only Grass Roots song I've got in my collection

What? Where is Long, Cool Woman In A Black Dress?
@JSul3 I was looking for a "cool down" at the end.
