@bijouxbroussard I actually researched it. Apparently, it was a children's song in the UK, and the group had fun with it by putting it to a rock beat! (People in the US probably were oblivious to this.)

And now I think of 'second verse, same as the first" as something kids will do, over and over and over, driving their parents insane! 😂

@DrWatson Really old song from the old British music halls. All the East End great/grandparents knew it, mine did!
