Can't remember how old I was at the time, probably sixteen/seventeen (I'll let you work out how many years ago that was lol), anyway I was at a friends house and, as per usual, we were going through his Dad's album collection. Actually, as I recall, we were wearing the grooves off of Ship Ahoy by the O'Jays.
Bloody hell, I LOVE that album. Getting goosebumps just typing the title.
Anyhoo, Dad comes in the living room and basically says, "enough, play this one instead."
It was Skin I'm In by Chairman of the Board. A few months later, his Dad actually gave me his only copy. Still in my vinyl collection to this day.
