I Miss The Love Songs Of The 50's And 60's

For some unknown reason I turned my radio on to Sirius 5 (music from the 50's) today. Between one of the songs the announcer said this "We play music in the front seat while you make out in the back seat". How true that statement was back in those days.

There's an are of "woods" near where I live...and when I was younger, you'd drive down this road and there were little inlets where people would park...all you would see in the darkness were the car parking lights and you know what was going on. I always thought "someday when I get older....I'm taking a girl there".....

@luctoretemergo Did you ever take a girl there? We had an old gravel pit near our farm and yes lots of places to hide in it and "make out" with your partner.

You know, it's funny you ask because I did finally...and we had such a good time that my battery died and we were stuck there. Cops came at sun up...gave me a loitering ticket, but also gave me a jump (thanks Trooper!).Got her home at about 6 am and her dad was waiting....Damn I miss being young and in love! :) @Shannon27

@luctoretemergo I got home one time when my dad was getting up to go do the milking. He didn't need to say anything but I could tell by the look on his face I was in deep s**t. I was 19 at the time.
