Krokus "Screaming in the Night" ...Anyone Remember?

@uncalled4 I was a singer in bands for years and we did those same songs ourselves, lol

@Peek4U We did Quiet Riot, Priest, Maiden, and Ozzy.

@uncalled4 I mostly did Zeppelin songs. Mixed in some G&R, ACDC and others, along with several of my own songs

@Peek4U Our lead singer had a voice one notch above a garbage disposal, so Zep was off the table lol.

@uncalled4 I was blessed with a great vocal range for many years, so I could hit some very high stuff, like Robert Plant. Of course, no one is Plant.
As I aged, I adapted.
But unlike so many singers still doing it today, I knew when it was time to step away.
I still love singing but I know my limitations

@Peek4U You know when you drop the needle on a record and it skids off? Our lead singer sounded like that.

@uncalled4 My last performance on stage ended with "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" as done by G&R.
My good friend who sang for another band called me up to sing a few songs with his band while he took a break. He passed away only days later so that song hit me hard for a long time

@uncalled4 Not a great video clip a friend took, phones sucked then, lol, but this was my last time. You can see I wasn't exactly dressed to rock the stage that night in my work clothes lol

@Peek4U The video I have of my band is so old that it was done on the first ever camcorder 40+ years ago. The tape probably won't play, and we might be better off for it lol
