@BlueGreenGrey Wow you actually got a response that's pretty awesome. I've never even attempted with any musician but to be fair I don't really use Twitter. I don't keep up as much as I would like on the social media front for bands. I am constantly feeling behind in my knowledge
@SlippingAway honestly it may have been the only time I ever attempted with any musician and I didn't expect a response ... and since then I've never been able to find again on YouTube the clip I was asking him about, but there was some French tv show they had appeared on a couple of times in the mid-80s, and in one episode they showed him using something like looked like a laptop, in the mid-80s, so I asked him was it was (it wasn't truly a laptop, but almost I guess, I forget what he said, but perhaps it was something more akin to just word processor device and couldn't do much else)

@BlueGreenGrey I hear ya on the Musk-era Twitter. I am on a few mailing lists so at least I know when bands are coming in my area but other than that I have to hunt for my info.
@SlippingAway oh wow ... while the entire episode is no longer on YT, it is on Archive.org ... in particular it is funny to hear the band playing (acoustically) «Home on the Range» outside on some random steps ... if you're a Cure fan this is very much worth a watch, just around 17 minutes long
