I've heard that before. It's an old song, isn't it?
MaryDreamilton · 46-50, F
@Avectoijesuismoi I've heard it on the jukebox in our local pub, it's full of oldies. I can't remember who sings it without looking,
Avectoijesuismoi · 31-35
@MaryDreamilton The most common version in Jukebox is probably Creedence Clearwater Revival
MaryDreamilton · 46-50, F
@Avectoijesuismoi I know they've got songs by that band, I know a few guys who like them, so it could be.

First of all if you're 1 mi south of Texarkana you're still about 30 mi north of Louisiana

CCR
(also the Beach Boys)

@BridgeOvertroubledWaters It might have been the Beach Boys version on the pub jukebox. They are very popular around here despite their all-American image.
Avectoijesuismoi · 31-35
@MaryDreamilton They are actually good I like some of their songs mind you I like music
MaryDreamilton · 46-50, F
@Avectoijesuismoi I wouldn't go mad over them, but at least they are cheerful and uplifting.
bikelover · 56-60, M
