I've loved and followed the Dead since the late 60s!!! Can't remember how many concerts that I've been at, but I still have all the ticket stubs. Way back then there used to be a saying that if you claimed to remembered a Grateful Dead concert then you weren't there!!!

I like some of their songs.

Not as much in the sense of being a hardcore Grateful Dead fan, but as a music lover in general.

On that note, some of my favorite Grateful Dead songs include Mindbender (Confusion's Prince), The Only Time Is Now, Mountains of the Moon, St. Stephen, China Cat Sunflower/ I Know You Rider, Truckin', Casey Jones, Touch of Grey, Hell In A Bucket and Throwing Stones.
As I get older I'm starting to appreciate thrm more
I never liked them as a teenager

Saw them maybe 1/2 dozen times in the 90’s before Jerry passed.

@Bobby93 I resisted the calling all through the 80’s. Saw them play w Bruce Hornsby, Bob Dylan . Walked to strawberry fields in Manhattan when news. Of his death broke in like 94/95?

@AthrillatheHunt
When news of his death broke out in like '94/'95.

August 9th, 1995 was when he died.

@Sidewinder I was at my gf apt at the time and she immediately said “we have to walk to Central Park “. It was like every dead head got the same message. It was weird.
