What do you think of Molly Hatchet?
I'm willing to give them a try, I've listened to some samples of their songs and must say they have a more hard rock sound than a lot of other southern rock bands.

Saw them often in very small clubs before they released their first album. They were a good solid Jacksonville band that had a lot of turnover In personnel. They do have a solid forward sound and I think you will enjoy the older band but I’m not familiar with the recent material.
