@beermeplease As a British young adult in the late 90s, I did get to see Oasis and the Manic Street Preachers at their peak.

I have also seen Frank Black, Sonic Youth, David Bowie, Rage Against the Machine and others.

I can't complain TBF. I became an adult during the last golden age of rock music.

@beermeplease I’m just plain jealous. Seriously.
@Burnley123 all good bands...and if you noticed the top stub....one of my favourite bands is black sabbath...who happen to be british....so many great bands from there 🤘

@beermeplease We have a proud rock tradition.

However, you guys do have Nickelback.
@AlittleBitGenX the nirvana concert was just 3 months before cobain died...small venue, which was cool. less than 4000 people
@Burnley123 i was more of a rush fan...but we had the guess who, bto and some other good acts too

@beermeplease Montreal's Arcade Fire were probably the best band of the 00s.

I was being sarcastic about Nickelback. 😝
