I like this. It does sound very much like a Beatles tune.
To answer your question, there apparently is such a term. Chicago band member Robert Lamm used a similar version of it while discussing the inspiration for his song, "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?":
"I was a teenager walking down the street in Brooklyn, New York where I grew up. I walked by a movie theater and there was an usher standing outside taking a cigarette break. I said to him, 'Hey man, what time is it?' and he said, 'Does anybody really know what time it is?' I remembered that when I was trying to write this sort of Beatle-esque shuffle and just explore the idea of 'Does anybody really know what time it is?'"

@Rutterman Chicago’s always been one of my groups, from back in high school, and I’ve always liked that song. I can definitely hear the influence.

@bijouxbroussard They've always been one of my favorite groups too. "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" is one of the many great songs they've recorded. I never get tired of listening to it.
