You know, I've come to realize why I feel this band #thesounds is so MASSIVELY #underrated and why I've loved them for so long and just never forgot Painted by numbers.
It's really simple. I hail from another Scene, Electronic Body music, that is largely, not being done by many artists anymore because it's being allowed to die largely due to most of the fans disappearing and there not being enough money in it, and this all ties back to the fact that a lot of people find the music to be too repetitive, and no ones come and shaken shit up and innovated in our space in decades, and I look at the success of Dubstep, and the massive numbers carried in, Also Aware of Ryan upchurch's Creek Squad's success in pulling in a new generation towards #countrymusic, and I'm starting to realize as much as #rockandroll cemented itself for decades it's also going into its own decline and is in need of revival itself
And the sounds, are innovators, in in the space, And while they're doing what roxettem did decades prior, they don't sound much like them.
They are Synth Rockers.
And I think about it, Rock is Past Due for a Revival movement, it's past due to be shaken up by the introduction of innovation, and other people who like to blur genres are looking at rock's current weakness and thinking they'd like to get in on blurring other genres into it, And if we don't get Synth rock we're going to get rap rock in it's place, and this is a way of voting against that.
